Psalm 9 God Our Foundation

When we recognize God as the only Power and Presence in our world we live the holy life This power can be perceived as having the full authority of the Presence of God at our back going with the flow). This power is ours if we choose to remove our limited thoughts that prevent us from acknowledging and participating in our heritage of abundance as beloved children of God.

God is a foundation that is firm in troubled times (The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble). God is there for all who seek (you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you). With God at the center of our lives negative thoughts (enemies) perish. God does not require that we work out all of our shortcomings on our own. We need only willingly turn our problems over to God. Those who are humble and deny self-sufficiency will be taken care of by God. 

When we let go of our self, we free ourselves to step into the flow Spirit, which is the ultimate guide to life. The Lord can lift us out of a life of pain and meaninglessness (gates of death).

The imagery of the wicked being destroyed by their-own hands is prolific throughout the Bible. This is the law of God in action executing judgment. All falsehoods will eventually be exposed. It is most important that we understand the power of our thoughts, and that we are living the circumstances of our previous thoughts right now. We can release the ones based in error and embrace the ones based in Truth. But sometimes that clarity only comes because of the gift of consequence. Error thoughts and actions are based in a limited consciousness (let the nations know that they are only human). 

However we are not just human, we are spiritual beings and our goal while we are here is to be vessels of Divine activity. When all else fails we find our way back to God, the only sure foundation.

And so it is! Amen!
