Psalm 48 The Fortress of Love

English: The fortress of Narikala ნარიყალა and...
Love is the most powerful force in the world. This statement sounds idealistic, at best, and insane, at worst, in world of materialism and greed. But those who have attained some level of spiritual understanding know that the power of love can conquer all evil (ungodliness). If we take the time to observe, we can easily see that love has the ability to transform any circumstance. If we can remember to apply the force of love in all of our challenging situations, we will be astounded at the level of security it provides.

Christ (His holy mountain) is the joy of humankind. That exalted state of mind is represented by the love faculty (Zion), through which God gives us our sure defense. Our lower impulses of the personal will have no power in the presence of love. The winds from within (east) blow away the hard, unyielding characteristics of purely intellectual perspective.

As we praise God we can feel the Christ presence permeating our being and Truth overcomes our error. When we understand the enormity and unchanging nature of God’s love for humankind, we cannot help but be moved. Through God’s love we are able to love one another and ourselves. When we look at love in all its forms and from every angle, for in this we find God. God is Love. In this love we have our protection.

And so it is! Amen!
